LET ME TELL YOU MY STORY SO YOU MAY KNOW WHO I AM AND THEN DEFINE ME IF YOU WISH. - Masiding Noor Yahya

Only God knows what will be in the morrow

“Don’t be biased... Allow them first to prove their worth. Anyone can surmise but only God knows what will be in the morrow.”

I am one of those observers of the struggle of the Muslims in the Philippines. I had witnessed several armed confrontations between Mujahideen and government troops, and when MNLF leaders surrendered to the government and when factions broke away from the MNLF.

I have watched how ARMM was conceived and evolved and governed for over two decades; how corruption became synonymous with it that all its provinces, cities and towns became so poor; and how it gained the reputation of a failed experiment.

Just last Tuesday, I have personally observed the official turnover of power from the defunct Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao unto the newly created Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao at the SKCC, ARMM Complex in Cotabato City.

I have heard as well both positive and negative comments, praises and criticisms, since the BTA members were sworn to office on February 24 to run in interim capacity the BARMM until 2022 when the first regular officials will be duly elected and sworn in.

Like many others, I also have questions and doubts about the selections of the BTA members, or, whether or not this is the answer to our common prayers. But as I had said, I could write something about the BARMM then give the BTA a holiday with a prayer for their success in running the affairs of the new regional government.

Only God knows what’s in store for us tomorrow. (MNY)
